How we research
Every guide starts with the real question a driver is asking. We combine hands on experience with the official documentation from Apple and Google, and we test fixes and hardware ourselves whenever we can.
Accuracy and sources
We link to primary sources so you can check the facts yourself. When we describe a step, it is a step we have followed, not one we assumed would work.
Corrections and updates
If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change. As phones, cars and apps evolve, we revisit older guides and update them rather than leaving stale advice in place.
Independence
We do not accept payment for reviews or recommendations, and no brand has any say over our verdicts. Where a link earns us a small commission, we disclose it clearly and it never changes what we suggest.
Who writes for us
Our guides are written and edited in house by people with real experience installing and troubleshooting in car technology. Every article carries a byline so you know who stands behind it.
